cherry blossoms

redolent and ethereal

tints of pink drift 

out of a fairy tale

rows of trees

of poetry

petal by petal

read to the grass

then to the entirety 

of the village
 

to the bees

the wind

the rain

the earth

a dedication to the new revival

of spring.
