Chinhooi Zhenhui

The breathing  of the earth frozen with ice and snow the rivers fenced in by mountains the light got its body swallowed by night and my freedom fettered  by fears and anxiety on the daily they say if you shift perspectives for a second the earth however barren  is adorned with snow and ice the rivers however tortuous are accompanied by lumps of the mountains no matter how dim the light it has the backing of the night and as tethered as i am there's still little freedoms  you know like here and maybe there but not one i can see it must have been just me.  

 I'm listening to this song time is listening too I'm waiting for the song to build up to the climax  that i know so well but time takes me to a place that i don't know i just don't know maybe it's an older song that time just understands more and i don't not to mention the melody outside  i keep listening this should be distance I've traveled that's my favorite a distance I've covered from walking to spreading my own  wings.

Under the streetlights  i see hundreds of people walking, stopping looking a little happy or sad a stranger to each other not a word is required passing each other by in the same or opposite direction sometimes someone will try to make eye contact or take a look at others other times they are just  chasing pavement footsteps confused gazes blurred they are getting closer just to get farther away.
