time is listening too

I'm waiting for the song to build up

to the climax 

that i know so well

but time

takes me to a place

that i don't know

i just don't know

maybe it's an older song

that time just understands more

and i don't

not to mention

the melody outside 

i keep listening

this should be distance I've traveled

that's my favorite

a distance I've covered

from walking

to spreading my own
